I just saw the cover of Dragon Queen with titles added. Well done SCAR. Also known as Steve Carter and Antoinette Rydyr (yes, correct spelling). Now the writing has to live up to the cover which Barbara Custer will aid me in doing. And yes the editing goes on. It is a slow process getting it right.

It should be noted here that Steve and Antoinette are big Jack Kirby fans and it shows in their work. They are also top Australian artists in their own right, giving my Dragon Queen a fighting chance in the USA and the UK as well as Australia and New Zealand.

Meanwhile, New Zealand friend Lyn McConchie is doing well with her post apocalyptic novels such as Coals and Ash as well as her Sherlock Holmes books.

Sunday I went to the Illawarra Rhododendron Gardens on the Illawarra escarpment. There were a few ducks in the lake area and, in the forest, Lewin’s honeyeaters flittered about. There was at least one red-browed finch since I caught him on camera. A young, scruffy kookaburra flew about. I thought this might be a good spot for a powerful owl but I suppose that was just wishful thinking.

There are cold nights but the last couple of days haven’t been too bad. Even so, I look forward to when winter is over.

On the coronavirus front, incidents of people with it in New South Wales have spiked. It may be some time before we’re done with this virus. CHEERS!
